RAB cordons off Basila ‘militant hideout’
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have cordoned off a tin-shed house in Dhaka’s Bosila area in Mohammadpur suspecting it to be a militant den.
Acting on secret information, a team of the elite force cordoned off the house, “Metro Housing,” at Bosila around 3:30am on Monday, RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Mufti Mahmud Khan said.
He said sounds of gunshots were heard from the house around 4:45am, reports the UNB.
