Quader’s health condition improving: Dr
The health condition of ailing Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader, who is being treated at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, is improving.
“Alhamdulillah, all the physical parameters of Quader are going well… His kidneys are very stable now and the infections have slowed down. Blood count has come down to twelve thousands and the urine output is also fine. Heart condition, pressure and heartbeat are very good,” Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Director Dr Abu Naser Rizvi told BSS in a video clip referring to the statement of Cardiologist Dr Philip Koh today.
Rizvi, who is staying beside the ailing politician in Singapore, said we sat with the five-member medical broad, led by Koh today around 12:30 pm to discuss Quader’s health condition.
He said the medical board is thinking to remove of his artificial devices fixed with his body gradually.
“If his condition improved further, then doctors may eject some of the devices tomorrow and the rest of all will be removed on the next Friday,” he added.
A Mount Elizabeth Hospital air ambulance flew Quader to Singapore on March 4 for better medical management as advised by doctors including famous Indian cardiologist Devi Shetty as he was being treated at BSMMU Hospital with critical cardiac condition.
His wife Isratunnesa Quader is also accompanying Quader at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.
